This is a place I sometimes go to when I want to swim in the lake.
Here there are many different shapes. If I squint my eyes, this might be the arms and head of a person who is on the beach.
While it seems unlikely, this is also one of our cats. Paw positioning, facial expression and his closeness to his favorite blanket even gave away which one, if you knew him.
Today's Sunday Special shows some shells I carved from soapstone.
Now read this aloud three times fast. :D
A landscape, or fabric scraps?
This is part of my favorite skirt and part of a shirt I like. The offspring, however, told me this is a steep hill with a palm tree growing on it.
In this doodle I see details of plants: moss, cells, bark and other small scale plant stuff.
For the plants I used our drawing gadget again.
An Object That Must Not Be Named sits in a twisted landscape. I like the shed.
I got the coloured pencils out again!
There is an eye stalk in this doodle.
Today's Sunday Special shows where new chameleons come from...I'm sure they don't hatch from eggs, do they?
A starfish and a shell are sharing this page of my notebook.
An apple, a pear, rose hips, a chestnut and some berries show that I thought of autumn when doodling this.
There is a spiral, a plant, there are dots on lines, circles, squares...lots of stuff, once again!
If you ever peeked into the 'materials and methods' section of this blog, you might already know this one. It shows my doodling utensils.
This one has parallel lines.
A snail shell sits in the center of a patterned square.
Today's Sunday Special is a bunch of friendship bracelets. I was undecided about which drawing I wanted to put here, so I scanned a few bracelets instead. Although I am far, far away from being teen aged, I enjoy making them once in a while. Do you know how to do them?
I like this one. The sun looks just like part of a stage design, and the trees are so neatly sorted.
A flower sits on top of various stuff. The thing next to the flower, what is it?
Here we've got more flowers, like yesterday.
By now, you already know our doodling gadget, don't you? Here, I used it to draw the outlines for two flowers.
Maybe this is the sun? There seems to be a lot of energy.
Today's Sunday Special shows some buildings and trees on a hill.
The sun is shining, and there are hills.
Here there are small flowers in some random doodles.
This is one of our two cats.
Our tried and trusted drawing gadget got used once more.
A felt tip pen that's running out of ink has its own set of useful properties. The lines start getting thinner and thinner, and make very delicate doodles.
